The theory behind Core Theory
I’m a mom of two girls, and live in Ashland. I’ve spent much of my career in the fitness and wellness industry as a fitness director, corporate wellness manager, and the Pilates lead at luxury health clubs.
Early in my career, I gravitated toward high-impact workouts. I thought a great workout meant more intensity, more sweat, and pushing harder.
But I always found myself coming back to Pilates.
Pilates humbled me. It slowed me down and completely changed my definition of strength. I learned that true strength isn’t always about doing more—it’s about control, connection, intention, and understanding how your body moves from the inside out.
Over the years, that perspective has shaped not only how I move, but I how I coach. I believe the best kind of movement is the kind that helps you feel stronger, move better, and allows you to continue to do the things you love longer. Movement should support you through every season of life.
That belief is what inspired Core Theory.
I wanted to create a welcoming, community-focused space where quality movement comes first—whether you’re a mom carving out an hour for yourself, an athlete looking to move and perform better, or a grandparent who wants to stay strong and active with the people you love.
My teaching is form-focused, intentional, and personal. My goal isn’t simply to make you work harder. It’s to help you understand your body, move well, build true strength, and feel confident in what your body can do.
Quality movement. Intentional strength. Strength for life.
That’s my theory
